I've been working with a Canadian writer for over a year editing her short stories and blog pieces. She has a great website at https://undertones.ca/and this is part of one of her blogs about sisterhood.

Here is an excerpt from Biohazard Studio's Upwind line. This is from The Prophecy of the Grand Amplifier Campaign and Sourcebook. Here you get to see what two different passages looked like before and after I attacked them with my red pen.

This PDF shows some of the comments that I gave to an author about her 110k science fiction manuscript.

Author Shannon Brown hired me to proofread her book on a tight deadline. This was a sweet romance filled with wonderful descriptions of life in Alaska.

Shannon wrote,

“Rachel had a short time to proofread my romance, but she did a thorough job, and completed the job a day early. I would hire her again.”

"Games don't get made without wonderful collaborators. Rachel Lapidow is a skilled RPG copy editor who did so much to improve the clarity of my writing."

This was a message on Twitter from game creator Mark Sabalauskas. I loved helping Mark get his quick start guide ready for gamers. Return to the Stars is a fun and optimistic game chock full of humor and excitement. Here is an excerpt from Biohazard Studio's Upwind line. I copy edited and proofread this 82k book. Due to Biohazard's publishing schedule, I had to edit this book before the core book. To prevent confusion or differently named abilities and artifacts, I cross-referenced the core book and kept a very detailed style sheet.

This was an 80k core book that had been edited by another individual and converted into a PDF. Unfortunately, my client discovered numerous mistakes in the PDF and sent out a request for help. Dom Perry from Nine Dragons recommended me to help out. I was limited as to the edits I could make as they would affect the layout of the book. So I made surgical edits and also verified that the index listed the correct page number for each entry (which it initially didn't).

I've been working with Nine Dragons RPG since 2016. I've edited three guides in their Honour series. It features magic, martial arts, stealth, demons, and gangsters in an alternate version of modern-day Asia. It uses a unique rule system.
